1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ThrusterLog application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SLC Systems ("we," "our," or "us").

2. Description of Service

ThrusterLog is a personal dive logbook application designed for freelance ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) pilots and offshore professionals. The App provides tools for:

• Recording and managing ROV dive operations including dive logs, depth data, environmental conditions, and personnel information
• Tracking equipment and sub-components with hour counters and maintenance scheduling
• Managing professional certificates with expiry tracking and renewal reminders
• Creating pre/post dive checklists for operational safety compliance
• Logging IMCA-standard subsea inspection observations
• Recording shift notes and handover documentation
• Generating PDF dive operation reports (Pro feature)
• Synchronizing data across devices via cloud storage (Pro feature)
• Exporting and importing dive data (Pro feature)

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information during registration
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen. Account deletion permanently removes all associated data from both your device and our servers.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

4.1 Free Plan

The Free plan provides limited access to core features with the following default limits (subject to change via remote configuration):

• Up to 5 dive logs
• Up to 2 equipment records
• Up to 3 certificates
• 1 photo per dive

4.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan unlocks all features including unlimited records, cloud synchronization, PDF report generation, data export/import, advanced statistics, component maintenance tracking, and certificate/maintenance reminders. Pro is available as:

• Monthly subscription
• Yearly subscription

4.3 Payment and Billing

• All payments are processed through Apple's App Store (in-app purchases)
• Subscription prices are displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by region
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods; refund requests must be directed to Apple
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice

4.4 Free Trials

If we offer a free trial, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled. Unused portions of free trials are forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

5. User Responsibilities

When using ThrusterLog, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Provide accurate and complete information in your dive records
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the App
• Not use the App to store or transmit malicious or harmful content
• Not share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations including offshore and maritime safety standards

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, interface, and all related intellectual property, is owned by SLC Systems and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and professional purposes.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all data and content you create within the App (dive logs, equipment records, certificates, photos, etc.). By using the cloud sync feature, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data, reports, or calculations generated by the App
• Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App or its servers
• Compatibility with all devices or operating system versions

You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of your important dive records and operational data through independent means.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SLC Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from reliance on information provided by the App
• Operational incidents, equipment failures, or safety incidents related to dive operations
• Service interruptions, data sync failures, or server downtime

Our total liability for any claims arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Cloud Sync and Data Integrity

The cloud synchronization feature uses a last-write-wins conflict resolution strategy. In the event of a sync conflict (e.g., the same record modified on multiple devices), the most recently modified version will be preserved. While we take reasonable measures to ensure data integrity, we do not guarantee that sync operations will always be successful or that no data will be lost during synchronization.

It is your responsibility to regularly verify the accuracy of your synced data and maintain independent backups of critical records.

10. Remote Configuration and Updates

We may remotely adjust certain App parameters including feature limits, maintenance mode settings, and minimum required app versions. These changes may affect your access to certain features. We may also deliver in-app announcements regarding service updates, maintenance windows, or important notices.

We may require you to update to a minimum app version to continue using the service. Critical security or functionality updates may be enforced through minimum version requirements.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended inactivity
• Non-payment of subscription fees

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data stored locally on your device will remain accessible, but cloud-synced data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SLC Systems, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Turkey.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through in-app announcements. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Apple Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, Inc. ("Apple") is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms of Service, and that upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof. This clause is required under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps distributed through the App Store.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's usage rules for the App Store, Apple's usage rules shall prevail to the extent of such conflict.
